Agent security & safe tool use
What is Agent security & safe tool use?
A set of techniques and tools designed to prevent AI agents from being misused, exploited, or accidentally causing harm when they take actions on systems or networks—covering everything from blocking malicious prompts to monitoring what agents actually do.
As AI agents gain real-world capabilities to access tools, APIs, and networks, security gaps in how they're deployed could turn them into attack vectors or enable them to inadvertently cause damage, making defensive controls urgent before widespread adoption.
